We discuss the case of a young teenager with ulcerative colitis who developed pnevmomediastinuma and subcutaneous emphysema in the neck and surrounding soft tissues of the neck secondary to retroperitoneal perforation of possible colon. To our knowledge, this is the first case of this complication lasix generic online in children's literature. Our experience gives view of this unusual complication, as it may represent, and its clinical significance in young patients with ulcerative colitis.
